The inspiration for e-outfitter.com came from a wild boar hunting trip in Central
California. Co-Founders Michael Pyefinch and Brett Sagaser were discussing how
difficult it is to find a good guide for Hunting and Fishing trips. Without personal
referrals the chore of connecting with Outfitters and comparing their services was a
real challenge. Complaining about the overwhelming information on the estimated
40,000 outfitters throughout the United States, initiated a conversation about
centralizing and promoting the Fishing and Hunting Trips available throughout the
country. The idea of E-Outfitter, Inc. was then born.
This idea is not a new one. Many of the major outdoor recreational equipment
providers and travel providers have an Internet presence that allows for secure
